What is Documentation?

Documentation refers to written or electronic material that describes, explains, or records a product, system, or event. During board meetings, the meeting agenda and the meeting minutes are documentations used to serve as accounts of the proceedings. They are used to track progress, boost efficiency and productivity, keep everyone updated, and ensure that every item is discussed and recorded for future reference.
