The Board Management Software for Turkish Organisations

We did consider a couple of other products because we are made up of 30 people, we are always aware of the need to balance costs. We did not see the value of expensive pre-sales consultations that were mandatory with the other providers. With Convene, we were given time to evaluate the solution without an upfront commitment to financial investment.

When Convene was reviewed by our InfoSec team, I remember them being happy and impressed by the security standards and certifications. From what they were saying, I believe it was a step above from what we had before. The fact that it can use ADFS authentication is useful for us because we use AD authentication. Convene also has the necessary security compliance standards and that was a prerequisite for us because of the people who use it (board members, directors, etc.) and the sensitive nature of the information discussed.

Thanks to Convene, everyone is working with the same platform, referring to and using it the same way, and helping each other out. The uniformity was once a challenge, but is now a great benefit to several of our committees within the credit union. We all receive notification of any changes in real-time, so we are immediately alerted if a file has been updated. No one is left in the dark, so no one is lagging behind in receiving information. We also appreciate the fact that we can make mark ups on documents, like working with actual paper, minus the waste and the inconvenience.

From an administrator perspective, we were after something that would make it easier for us to manage papers coming in, update the versions, manage publications, and to collate documents into a simple, single agenda. Most importantly, we wanted the system to make the process easier for us and not an additional job

The way that the agenda builder works makes it very easy to quickly check that you have included all the papers you needed. I know that, as long as they work from Convene, everyone will have the latest version of all the board documents. That couldn’t be done with email or a cloud-based system.
