A Year in Review: Azeus Convene’s 2017 Highlights

This 2017, Azeus Convene has hit a number of significant milestones. We got to know our customers more, reaffirm our pledge to sustainability, and expand our global presence. Here’s a recap of our major activities and achievements:

Participated in conferences across the globe

Achieving customer satisfaction is at the heart of our organization. As such, we make it a point to get to know our clients’ needs through personal interactions.

This year, we attended 13 conferences around the world such as Thomson Reuters Company Secretary Forum 2017 and ICSA Conference in the UK, International Hotel Technology Forum in France, 15th Congreso de Formación para Assistants y Ayudantes de Dirección in Spain, and MAICSA Annual Conference in Malaysia, among others. These conferences gave us an opportunity to talk to our customers upfront and gain a better understanding of what they need in a digital meeting solution.

Reinforced our commitment to sustainability

Since Azeus Convene advocates for paperless meetings, we’ve taken this mantra to the next level by launching a series of initiatives aligned with our values.

To start off, our UK team moved into a new office space in Pop Brixton and transferred to an upcycled shipping container.

For World Environment Day, we made a donation to the World Land Trust to protect rainforests. We purchased and protected an acre of threatened wilderness habitat and all its wildlife on behalf of our customers, who had saved an equivalent amount of trees by using Azeus Convene from April 2016. Next, we aim to plant a tree for every tree saved by our customers as a result of not printing documents.

Finally, we sponsored The Paperless Awards. Aimed at the Public Sector in the UK, this prestigious event encourages and celebrates exceptional progress towards the goal of becoming a paperless environment.

Recognised within the industry

Earlier this year, Azeus Systems was declared one of the 16 winners of the 2017 Golden Peacock Innovative Product/Service Award for our product Azeus Convene. The Golden Peacock Awards was established in 1991 in India by the Institute Of Directors (IOD), which is now regarded as a worldwide standard of corporate excellence.

Among the 400-plus applications received by the IOD, 241 responses were shortlisted for final selection through a three-tier assessment process: quality, business excellence, and training. Together with Azeus Systems, some of the winners in the IT industry are: Acer India, Dell International Services India, Gensuite, and Mahindra Comviva Technologies.

Established a wider international presence

Finally, and perhaps our most significant achievement for this year, we have successfully expanded our footprint to more than 40 countries. From building a strong foundation in the United Kingdom, Azeus Convene has branched out to African and Asian countries like Uganda, Bangladesh, and Indonesia, to name a few. For 2018, our goal is to penetrate more countries and help organizations transition into a digital meeting environment.

Indeed, 2017 was quite an eventful year for the Azeus Convene team. We hope that 2018 will be filled with even more highlights as we reach for greater heights. Cheers to a brighter year ahead!
