We want to be a modern and digital bank, and also modernize our board of directors. The Board of Directors can sometimes be seen as a rather old-fashioned body. We have brought modernity into this through a digital tool (Convene).
We had to find innovative mechanisms to have operational efficiencies like using Convene software. And as other big companies. we aim to digitise ourselves. It is therefore an approach that is in line with our desire to digitalise our processes. Thus Convene helped us to meet this need.

Before Convene, our admins had to print out meeting packs and use the old software. It defeated the purpose of going digital and just increased the workload for them. The Convene app is so good at what it does, they don’t have to print anything anymore. It works on every platform so every user can access it.
Round robin resolutions took months to get signed by all board members because the documents had to be sent to one director at a time. With Convene, signing documents is less tedious and time-consuming as the software enables them to distribute important documents to all directors with one click.
We did consider a couple of other products because we are made up of 30 people, we are always aware of the need to balance costs. We did not see the value of expensive pre-sales consultations that were mandatory with the other providers. With Convene, we were given time to evaluate the solution without an upfront commitment to financial investment.
Our financial accountant, Allyson Jorgensen, is an administrative user, utilizing the software mainly to build meeting packets and schedule upcoming meetings. Features she particularly finds convenient and helpful are the change notifications, user access customization and agenda builder. She no longer needs to convert the documents; she simply drags and drops them to create packets. She also likes the fact she can see who amongst the members has access to the packets, adding another layer of security e-mails just can’t provide.
