After getting recognition from the Saas Awards and the European IT & Software Excellence Awards, Convene gets yet another acclaim, this time from Best in Biz Awards International.

Running on its fourth year, Best in Biz Awards International is known to be the the only international business awards program judged solely by members of the press and industry analysts who have the necessary expertise to provide objective evaluation for every submission and to choose the top entries from the entry pool. Past winners include big names within their industries, such as Blackberry, Dell, DHL, Epson, Lenovo, Procter & Gamble, and Toshiba, just to name a few.

This year, Convene beat other competitors from all over the world and won Silver in two categories, Most Innovative Product of the Year – Enterprise and App of the Year – Enterprise and SMB. AdTheorent and Citrix received the gold prize in the respective categories.

Although Convene is primarily a paperless board portal for directors, we designed it to be versatile, so it has a big potential for enterprise use. Thus, we’re thrilled to win these accolades not only because Convene is in great company with the past and current crop of winners, but also because Convene is recognized as a world-class digital solution for the enterprise by no less than business insiders.

The diverse 2016 panel is composed of 17 judges from 15 countries, representing organizations like ARD, a joint organisation of Germany’s regional public-service broadcasters; The Australian, a broadsheet newspaper published in Australia; HT Mobile, home for the largest technical consumer electronics-centered community in Israel; In Business News, a business magazine in Cyprus that provides an overall approach to all segments of the economy; Irish Independent, Ireland’s largest-selling daily newspaper; PC Pro, a computer magazines published in the UK; Ventures Africa, an online news platform that explore African business, policy, innovation and lifestyle; and Vyapar, a business biweekly published in India. The full list can be found here.

Only writers, journalists, and contributors to business, consumer, financial, trade and technology publications, as well as broadcast outlets and analyst firms, are invited to serve as judges each year. Structured this way, Best in Biz Awards is able to leverage the experience and expertise of an influential group of global opinion makers to determine award winners.
