This summer, catch Convene at sunny Florida! As a member of the Florida Bankers Association (FBA), we will join the 2015 FBA Annual Meeting in Boca Raton, FL from June 7 to June 10. The four-day event, to be held at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, will feature a trade show of sponsors and exhibitors of which we are a part. Since 1888, FBA has served as an advocate on behalf of Florida banks while promoting the industry within the state. According to their mission statement, “FBA serves as the primary resource through which Florida financial service providers work in unity to influence the state and federal legal regulatory environment in which they serve their customers.” After the burst of the housing bubble which led to the 2007 depression, FBA has proven to be a critical resource more than ever. Banks have been struggling to comply with the law and run heir business at the same time due to stricter regulations, but FBA has also been doing their share to alleviate the restrictive atmosphere by identifying problematic regulations and coming up with viable solutions.
As supporters of FBA’s mission to make compliance for banks easier, we hope Convene can help bankers achieve streamlined and automated meeting processes for better security, transparency, and efficiency.
