Last week on Oct. 22, we wrapped up another successful event, the third annual Corporate Counsel Forum Singapore. It was a great pleasure and honor for us to meet and mingle with general counsels and other attendees from all over Southeast Asia, especially those who availed our complimentary delegate passes.
One topic that stood out among the many discussions during the forum was cyber risk, specifically minimizing disputes and investigations through various strategies. We found out that general counsels are eager to use new technologies to make processes convenient and efficient, but these should also keep the same processes secure and compliant to be acceptable for enterprise use. Therefore, general counsels are left with the dilemma of choosing technologies that address all key aspects, which can be challenging when so many digital solutions are available in the market today.
